A double-wheeled bench grinder is made out of an enclosed central electric motor that is fixed onto a table or workbench. On both sides of the electric motor there is a grinding disc. The grinding discs are enclosed to ensure safe operation and that the dust and splintering resulting from the grinding are safely contained. A channel is available for the comfortable and secure operation of a double-wheeled bench grinder. The workpiece is placed onto the channel and then manually guided along the rotating grinding disc. The grinding discs are clamped in, in the correct way for the particular function needed. A double-wheeled bench grinder operates using two grinding discs that run simultaneously. This construction has several advantages. If pre or post-grinding is necessary, the double-wheeled bench grinder ensures that the switching between one work step to the other is simple.
