STRAMA camshaft cleaning system

The cleaning system is suitable for cleaning camshafts or parts with smaller physical dimensions. 

Camshaft cleaning was last carried out on the system. The machine is currently out of service.

A brief description of how the machine works:

A handling robot with a 3-finger centric gripper takes the camshafts automatically. The robot feeds the camshaft to the cleaning, drying and vacuum drying stations one after the other. The cleaned and dried shaft is then automatically deposited by the robot in a removal station. 

The cleaning system consists of the following components:

• Transfer with robot from workpiece carriers
• Cleaning stations: Cleaning, blowing off / drying and vacuum drying
• Removal station (depositing by robot)
• Handling robot with gripper (robot type: KUKA, KR30-3 Foundry)
• Soundproof enclosure
• Tank, filter and pump equipment
• Extraction system (vapour condenser)
