About this lot

- Rotor diameter (mm) 180 - Rotor width (mm) 430 - Rotor speed (rpm) 150 - Drive capacity (kW) 4 - Rotor knives (pcs) 45 - Stator blades (rows) 2 - Screen size (mm) >5 - Product description (general): The low speed granulators of the GSL 180 range feature a 180 mm rotor diameter with widths ranging from 180 to 430 mm. The rotor is directly driven by a gear motor. The low speed of the rotor reduces the noise level of the machine and creates less dust during grinding. The specially designed knives of the GSL Series can be easily sharpened and do not require subsequent adjustment. The material is fed through a sound-absorbing feed hopper that can be adapted to suit various applications and feeding modes. Depending on the requirements, the machines can be equipped with a wide variety of hoppers, which are mounted on either low or high level base frames with matching suction containers or bag filling adapters. Quick-release fasteners and hand screws make access to the machine quick and easy for cleaning and maintenance. The GSL low speed granulators of the 180 series are mainly used in injection and blow molding processes as well as in press machines to grind runners and sprues. The resulting granules are then immediately reintroduced into the production process. The machines can be used for reject products in inline recycling processes as well. Different hopper and base frame design make it possible to integrate the machine with most types of injection molding machines and robots.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I bid on a lot?

To place a bid, you need to have an account with Surplex. You can create one by clicking on 'Create Account' at the top right corner of our website. Once registered and after completing your profile, you can start bidding on your desired items.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

How much does it cost to buy at Surplex?

There is a fee, the buyer's premium, added to each lot you win. The amount of the fee is shown on each individual lot. You see the buyer's premium for each lot when you are logged in as a customer at Surplex. Note that VAT is always added to your bid unless otherwise stated.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
